The drought has finally broken.

Autumn has arrived, the drought has broken and the garden is growing again. The 2 new Fejoa's we planted are looking healthy, one of them has 3 healthy fruits ready to fall off and I am watching them carefully and waiting with anticipation and have so far managed to curb picking them. Its better to let them fall when they are ready but the waiting is hard. My son's trees have been bountiful with fruit this year - and I hold out much hope for ours next year - and our peach tree and lemon tree. Waiting is so hard.

On line again

We now live in the suburbs and are getting used to a much
smaller house, but we are lucky to have a house. Brian
finally has an appointment to see about his knee which has
been plaguing him a lot. The appt isn't until the end of
June but at least he has the appt, so that is good. The
grocery shop is only about 15 minutes away and there is also
a leisure centre and swimming pool, spa and also a library
so we are well catered for. So we are getting used to being
city folk. Taxi's are an easy transport
from here so we don't miss not having a car too much,
mostly.
